Miss Leslie

Leslie is a sweet as can be two year old who was admitted to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in October of 2014.  After a series of imaging and tests, doctors delivered the crushing news to Leslie’s parents – they found an Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid tumor in her brain.

While the doctors were able to successfully remove the tumor, little Leslie has a long road ahead. Her treatment involves a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. The side effects of the treatment will require her to be hospitalized for the majority of the next year.

Leslie’s loving mom has been with her at CHW throughout most of her stay. Her adoring dad and four siblings make frequent visits to see her as well. PAX sends good sweet Paxlove to Leslie and her family as she continues on her path to recovery.
